These are the materials of the minicourse on LAL that took place online on June 1, 3 and 4 (2021). The participants were Master and PhD students, and also university professors. The participants were mostly from China, spreading throughout the entire country: Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Beijing, Dalian, Ningbo, Guilin, Changsha. The organizers of the seminar were members of the Department of Linguistics (Zhejiang University).
Session 1 (2 hours). Introduction to quantitative dependency syntax. The design principles of LAL. Working with single trees. Guided and non-guided exercises.
